airjordan223 Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 cant tell yet?? the only thing i could think of is for air to the intake, but why on a daily driver?
Ben. Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Well..it was precision slotting, dunno what the hell for.
airjordan223 Posted February 7, 2007 Author Posted February 7, 2007 for the amount of money he wasted on cutting up the jdm headlight, he could have put that towards something in his motor that would actually make a difference
Nancy Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 for the amount of money he wasted on cutting up the jdm headlight, he could have put that towards something in his motor that would actually make a difference im sure money is no issue to that guy if he can cut up a jdm headlight. the idea seems functional, ive seen it done a lot on most of the track hondas around here. so many haters, i dont know why.
airjordan223 Posted February 7, 2007 Author Posted February 7, 2007 it just seems weird to me to cut up a headlight. ive seen cars take them out for track day and stuff, but never like that. i have a thing with cars being symmetrical, it just pisses me off if theyre not. if he wants that extra air, why doesnt he run something from one of the openings in the bumper
xxscaxx Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 i think its cool. never seen a light like that before. Though it may not be much, is is functional. guys with STi's cut a circular hole in the foglight cover and do the same. looks better than that though lol.
coolcat467 Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 IMO the mugen front bumper looks weird without a big intercooler peaking through. I've only seen guys take out the whole headlight for air flow. Clean though.
CleanGSR Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 That's pretty cool. Very impractical for a daily driver, but pretty neat nonetheless.
mycarsux Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I don't like it. Creative, yes. But I don't like it.
Humphries Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 i actually really like it. i like cars to be different and unique and i think this guy did just that pretty well.
Chris 32 Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Hey i like to see original things and this certainly is.. something different.
blackdelsol Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 meh. it probably doesn't gain him much for the amount of work it took. I'm more about practicality.
airjordan223 Posted February 11, 2007 Author Posted February 11, 2007 yeah and now you only have one headlight
blackdelsol Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 yea exactly. he has plenty of room in his bumper for an intake.
Chris 32 Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 bottom line, this could look cool on a show car however there is no need for it on a daily driver. period. i would like the idea on a non daily driver car.
Chris 32 Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 how do you know its a dd? Says underneath the second picture, prolly said it on their car domain.
