dohc1991integra Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 my car has mad dents in side of the doors. (like most DAs) and i am curious as to how much it would be to remove them. There is no paint chips in the dents. im just trying to make my car look a lil better o:) there is on pretty big dent about 5 or 6 inches in diameter, so im going to take my door panel off and lightly beat it out with my palm. but can anyone tell me wat normanl prices are for dent removal. do they charge by the # of dents or by the hour, etc i know that some of u have done it and just wanted some prices/advice thanx in advance
CleanGSR Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 PDR usually charge per dent. A standard size door ding is around $40 for what I've seen. I'm sure they would work out some kind of deal if you needed a bunch removed, but expect to pay 200-300 or better. Just go shop for some quotes.

CleanGSR Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 I heard they don't work either. I went throught this for something about a year ago....don't remember why but I was checking all the same things. Only thing I found out is that PDR is the best bet rather than waste money on gimmicks that don't work.
EH6TunerDaniel Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Those things suck. My dad bought one because he heard they wree the greatest things on earth. Our truck still has mucho dents in it, and now it has glue all over it.

IL3GL'88 Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 they work really good for certain dents in certain places, but really bad for other, post pics of ur dent and ill tell u if i think itll work
cranny Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 hammer and dolly is only way to get metal perfect again if theres any creases in the dents at all. if theres no creases , its like a dent where someone pushed a large diameter section of the body in , you can pop that out most likely like you were planning. take inside panels off and gently pop it out as best you can. GENTLY.
