tegrakid06 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 im not sure but i think i have a blown head gasket there is oil leaking out of the coner and there is white somke coming out the exhaust and it boggs down when u give it gas and it runs slugish and the tip of my spark plugs are wet. can yall tell me what else it could be or if it is a blown head gasket
TS John Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 That sounds like a head gasket problem. I don't know too much about them but when I was (briefly) looking into them the smoke when you accelerate was one sign they listed.
Kegger Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Yep that is a blown head gasket. The white smoke is burning anti-freeze. I would suggest changing it at the soonest opportunity.
Xeryon Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Yea, hurry on that one. Once enough of the gasket blows out you'll lose pressure/compression, whatever and then you'll be stuck in a parking lot somewhere. My exp with head gaskets is they generally haven't failed in transit, but when you go to start it back up again it won't fire
