I haven't got any new shots of it..but here's what I ended up buying.

Rather than Diesel..which would've owned me.. Supercharged HD F150. It didn't come supercharged, either..mind you. ;) Haven't been able to get any under the hood shots yet..raining like a motherfracker right now.

I'll get new pics as soon as the weather clears up. Not only is it rainy..but it's f*cking cold outside. And the truck is somewhat muddy.

But here's shots from the dealership.

Dunno where I did that, but you can if you like. :)

I'm just in a bad mood and taking it out in every thread on Hondaforums. I like the truck BTW. There's a guy around my area running 10's with his Ford Lightning.

No prob, HF tends to piss some people off. As does life.

I'm envious of the Lightning guy. I just like my bigger trucks. Speed isn't gonna' be a factor in this one. I'm probably just gonna' end up lowering if (not sure if I'll even do that) and run a new exhaust system with maybe a couple bolt on's.

HF's not pissing me off, just having a sucky day alltogether. THe lightning guy is working on getting it to break into 9's this coming year. He's got mid 600whp and over 700 wtq......crazy.

Nice numbers. I don't think I'd wanna' go that high in a truck. At least not this one. Maybe the actual Lightning..

Edit --

Didn't see your post, AJ.

It's NIIIIIIICE. Semi-quiet..then you throttle it and all you get is blower whine.

Alas.

My buddy's F150 just passed 250,000 miles and is still running strong..

I'm hoping this one lasts a while.

I know. That's not a problem.

I was hoping no one would notice LOL.

It's surprisingly clean to be an '00. NO scratches or dents. The only thing that was wrong with it today was the fact that there was dried wax on it.. Which was rubbed off immediately with a soft cloth.. That, and the rain helped a little.

Lookin' forward to getting a different exhaust system on it.

Yessir. Sold it friday. That afternoon, paid off my debts..

Today, got this. I had everything planned..didn't really expect it to go through, I'd been looking at this truck for a while..it was on a list of..three or four.. It just happened to be the sole survivor of the group. Fortunately for me I got to testdrive it and fell in love with it.

Damn, that's awesome.

My buddy has a Kenny Bell S/C Ford Lightning.....took me for a ride in the summer running less boost than now and brake stand launched it..holy crapt i was soooo scurred. way too fast for a truck lol.

Yea, with little modification the s/c eliminates the need for the two extra cylinders it'd need to compete with the srt10 ram..they're close stock for stock..minor bolt on's put's it miles ahead of the ram.

i'm prolly gonna change the pulley on mine and do some minor modifications..nothing drastic.

the guy who worked on my brothers rx7 restored a cuda and sold it for like 80 grand, then bought the ram srt10 i think. whichever truck they put the viper motor in, he got. thing is crazy fast, he had it doin 120 easy in 5th, and its a 7 speed

They're easily thirteen second trucks..are are the lightning's. They're just so damn heavy.. They hook up pretty nice on the street/strip though.
