LEDs Under Dash

I wanted to know who has put LED strips under their dash. I saw these sold online for fourty dollars for two sticks and then lost the site. If anyone has LED's under the dash where did you get your power supply from? Some people say you can rig something up and plug it into the fuse box... Ideas? Thanks

not a great pic, but i just did a search for red StreetGlow neons, and got them for like 12 bucks a piece. theyre 15" i believe. ive heard of doing it up to the fuse box, but i just ran mine to a switch, and then the switch to my battery with its own fuse on the wire.

Looks Good! The switch by your e brake couldn't have been easy though, did you have to remove the center console to cut through?

no that rectangle piece just pops out. but either way, its like 4 screws to take the console out. that rectangle plastic piece is actually from like an old cassette tape holder that my friend had in his basement. the texture lined up pretty well, so we just cut that to fit, and drilled a hole in.

Yea just go to a parts store and look for the street glow ones.

And if you really want to be a big balla', get the music thing where the neons pulse to the music.

Yea that would be sick, just need to find a site that would show me how to wire hte LEDs

if you get an LED bar its the same as wiring neons. you can run one wire from a switch to the battery through the firewall and one wire from the switch to a ground. then just run the two wires from the LED bar or neon, to the power and ground on the switch

if i have an empty spot for a switch to the left of the steering wheel would that be harder to wire?

its probably easier because thats closer to the firewall. not sure where your firewall is, but it looks like a big rubber plug with wires going through it to the engine bay. usually up above the pedals somewhere

Yea I'm pretty sure the hole through your firewall is right above the brake pedal or to the left of it. Somewhere around there.

Going out to look right now.
