ToadStool Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Hey I own a 1995 Civic Dx and I ran over one of those ice blocks that build up behind the wheels of other cars. Anyways my pipe detached and I wanted to know the best way to fix this with the least amount of time.>_< http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t317/to...nt=PHTO0013.jpg http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t317/to...nt=PHTO0012.jpg http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t317/to...nt=PHTO0011.jpg http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t317/to...nt=PHTO0010.jpg http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t317/to...nt=PHTO0009.jpg http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t317/to...nt=PHTO0002.jpg http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t317/to...nt=PHTO0001.jpg
Pyrorocketeer Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 tack it in place, then take it down, finish your bead of weld, reinstall and your set.
lil.honda.man Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 i know for a temporary fix. you could tap up there and try to tac weld it or the redneck way you can tie it up with a clothes hanger.
ToadStool Posted January 28, 2007 Author Posted January 28, 2007 Alright thanks I just wasnt sure if i needed to replace anything or not.
lil.honda.man Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 I was just screwing with ya. They gonna tell at the muffler shop they can fix it temporary, but cheaper to just to replace.
..SSR.. Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 The piping rusted off my muffler. So I took off my entire exhaust.
