98_coupe_ex
ok so i noticed that thier are alot of items on ebay that are not the big name companys and what not. that say they do the same but for half the cost. now i know that the quality might not be as great and it dosent have thier logo but is any of it decent.(you get what you pay for) but i bought my cold air intake off of thier and have had no problems looks good and works great but what about other mods and items? airjordan223
personally id stay away from them. the exhausts sound like crap, and ive heard several times that the turbo kits from ebay brands break parts very easily.
GsrCrx
Depends on what you want... A cold air intake is pretty hard to mess up.. I mean bend a pipe twice and throw a filter on it and bam... cold air intake.. But if you are looking at the turbos or anything like that, be careful with no name products... alot of it is done with poor craftsmanship and probably wont last you a long time... dohc1991integra
ok just wandering, what about like raceing seats and parts for the interior? im sure seats and interior stuff is fine but i would stay away from anything that ur engine is relying on to run itself, if its not brand name. imo

xxscaxx
you can use ebay for everything, just make sure you get REAL brands for everything. not knock off and fake things.
darktuner
you can use ebay for everything, just make sure you get REAL brands for everything. not knock off and fake things. yes i agree i buy and sell everything on Ebay most of my cars interior was purchased from ebay but there all factory honda or NRG stuff and i bought my Skunk2 exhaust on ebay but be careful about the stuff that sounds to good to be true like the HKS blowoff valve for 20 bucks
psx2rulz2
i got my muffler off there, 4" inlet 6" outlet, and it sounds great. a few of my friends like the sound better than the regular exhausts you hear on tuners. they like my higher-pitched sound as opposed to the farters. the quality is good, it was nice and solid as hell and stainless steel(polished/chrome look). the only thing i didnt like is it didnt have mounting brackets so unfortunately i had to weld directly on the side of the muffler, ruining the stainless in that spot. now obviously just because it sounds good doesnt mean it performs good and ive never dynoed my car after the intake and exhaust upgrades so i couldnt tell you if it hurt or helped. its up to you to make your own choice i guess, i only spend like $40 total so i didnt waste much. Hatch92
4" inlet, 6" outlet ??? thats huge!!
mycarsux
A muffler will not give you much power gains. Maybe like a third of a horsepower unit. eBay is good if you're careful. Avoid "SS Autochrome" and any other brandname that you've never heard of.
TS John
But now that you've heard of SS AutoChrome be sure to avoid them too.
psx2rulz2
4" inlet, 6" outlet ??? thats huge!!might be more like 2"inlet and 4"outlet lol i forgot(the canister itself may have a 6" diameter)...cant go check since my car is in for service like 50 miles away. anyway, no just a muffler isnt going to give much power boost. you would have to do the entire exhaust system to see much gain. about all i had planned was leaving the stock exhaust header for now and putting 2.5" pipe all the way back to the muffler.
