njkid
Ok so i finally got a motor for my car. I got a b16 siR motor. Now i was wondering what I am going to have to do to switch over to obd1 being that the motor is obd1 and my car is obd2? Also my car is an LS and i was also wondering what i am going to have to do to run vtec wires? And is their anything else that i will have to change? I was told something with the plugs is going to have to be changed is this true? thanks.
cranny
you need a b16 ecu , and an obd2-obd1 jumper. theres a sensor under the lower timing belt cover , CKF , crank fluctuation sensor , obd1 doesnt have this , so the plug will be left off as the b16 doesnt have one. use your distributor that is on the car now. all sensors will be the same , take the plugs off each sensor of your LS , and plug them onto the b16 sensors.
