EH6TunerDaniel
Get a B18C.
GsrCrx
Yeah I would deffinity go with the B18C1 which is the GS-R motor. Its a really easy swap into your LS, and its got a decent amount of horsepower stock.
tbg
i was thinking about getting the b18c1 but i might not have the money. i am trying to sell the car i have now because i cannot afford it. i wouldn't be able to wait and save for the b18c1. does anyone now what motor would be better for low budget b18b or b16a? Kastigir
If you plan on never boosting, and can afford the b16a, then get it. If you were to plan on boosting later though, the the b18a would be a wiser choice.
tbg
okay i think that i will be getting the b16 because i won't boost down the road. but just questioning would an ls vtec make more power than a stroked b16? the reason is because i called a local shop and was quoted $2500 for a basic ls bottom end completed rebuit for lsvtec and i found stroker kits for cheaper. any opinions would be appreciated
