TLontheDL Posted December 10, 2007 Author Posted December 10, 2007 did you guys know that capcom messed up on naming 2 characters? m bison was suppose to be balrog/barlog and balrog/barlog is suppose to be m bison. the black boxer was suppose to be named a name similar to m tyson. this is what i read long long time ago. by the way, balrog and barlog is spelled differently in books and on the arcade screen. holla
BuddySol Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 can't fault the Japanese for not knowing what an "L" is. Actual the name swap was due to Capcom fearing that Tyson would actually sue, so Capcom's localization team did a name swap amongst the bosses: Balrog (US) = M. Bison Vega (US) = Balrog M. Bison (US) = Vega
