Need some help!

I was going to make a left to clear an intersection and a guy ran a red and hit me. Split responsibility so I won't get money for it, which means I need all the help I can get getting parts cheap. I'll upload pictures later (I have a few on my cell but I get no service up here so I can't send them to myself yet). By they way, this happened the night before I went to visit family in California, so the sol is parked in my driveway and I'm 3000 miles away without an internet connection (I'm mooching now but I won't have this reliably). So, yeah.....

 

Here is what got broke:

Driver's side headlight

Driver's side fender (bent but can be bent back if I can't get a new fender set)

Front bumper

 

If anyone has any of these things that they wanna get rid of or can bear to part with at all, please call my cell (410-963-2263) as I won't be able to check this with all likelihood. Of course I'm not asking for free stuff (unless you've gotten very much into the Christmas spirit) so we can negotiate a deal on stuff for sure. I very much appreciate all the help you guys can give me. Thanks in advance.

PS. If you find any good deals on ebay for this stuff and you wanna post them please do. I really won't have time to search around much out here and I need to have the car fixed up very soon after I get back since I need to go to work. Thanks again, guys.

Since I just had to get all of the above replaced last winter, after my Sol was backed into:

 

Front bumper cover - $50 + shipping on eBay (aftermarket OEM, will most likely require some work for proper fitment)

 

Headlight - I think I paid around $30? Had to get some ugly clear corners from eBay as well, so maybe another $15 there.

 

Fender - ~ $150 on eBay or if you know anyone with a body shop that can order you an aftermarket OEM one.

i'm sure someone parting out a sol on solsociety would be happy to part with a fender for about $70....that's how much my new PS fender cost.

CRG, thanks for the heads-ups pricewise. This is only the second time I've been online since the accident monday so I haven't been checking around much.

 

xer0, I can't get you second link to work. Thanks for posting links, though. Keep them coming for specific items if at all possible, regs. You know who you are, and you know I'd do the same for you guys.

if he ran a redlight, how is it split responsibility? anyway, heres some links i came up with

headlight this one even says "if your car got smacked and you just need the passenger side to get it through inspection, let me know"

 

heres a guy parting out several sols. probably get a deal with buying a few parts

 

front bumper this guy has fenders and stuff too so check that out

You wanna sell me your clear reflectors for the front bumper? I'm missing mine. Or I will eBay that too. Later edit: I don't need them anymore -- I just ordered some.

 

Edit: It's split responsibility since I was only clearing the intersection on a red. He maintains the light was still yellow. I and the witness that I pray to God can be contacted by my insurance (some dude I don't know who just stopped to give me his number since he said it looked to him like the guy ran the red) say otherwise, but since I have front impact and the other guy has rear it'll be at best split. I'm hoping for that since that way I won't get dropped from my insurance for my second accident in 8 months. I thought I was a better driver than this....

AWWIEZ poor john. sorry to hear that about the sol. idk exactly what your loooking for as far as replacing your damaged parts. but i know when i fixed mine (similar incident) it was 230 shipped for ebay jdm black housing 1 piece headlights with amber corners. it cost me 400 for my 97 bumper from honda. i just bent my fenders back to how they were. i hella wish i could get a freaking bumper for 33 dollars. i will add that when i fixed my car, there was minor frame damage, everything fit pretty okay, but i mean it was a bitch to get everything set right. good luck on fixing it <3

Thanks for people's replies. I ordered me some new stuff:

 

 

And a Type-R lip, CF hood, and new fenders w/JDM side-turn blinkers coming when I scope out the money thing (don't wanna overspend right now).

 

Just hoping Geico sees it my way with the whole split responsibility thing and I don't get killed insurance-wise.
