I got this '93 Civic CX hatchback..it's completely gutted..I mean literally..NO plastic panels in it..it retains factory glass and tailgate..and the inside of the doors have had the metal sheared off of them.. It's got three pedals..a steering wheel..shifter..and a crx bucket seat..

My question is..with a toda header/aem v2 cai/skunk2 im/msd 6al ignition/act clutch/lsd/gsr motor/tranny..

Running on 16" bfg drag radials with kyb adjustable suspension front and rear..

What do you fella's think it'd run?

I wouldn't say low 13's.

I ran 14.2 in my Civic CX hatchback with a JDM GS-R swap, eBay intake, Apex'i World Sport 2 exhaust, and test pipe. The only real weight reduction, I would think, would be the metal sheared off the doors. The plastics and rear seats weigh nothing, I keep mine in, because it isn't worth the effort. I would say high 13's probably with a decent driver.

Why don't you just run it and find out?

Pretty much my objective. I'm a decent driver. I had my ek9 in the low 14's without a bottle, so I don't really think that low 14's are gonna' be what I'm running, especially in something as light as an eg. Hell, a friend of mine that I can outdrive is running 14.0@100 in his eg with a gsr swap, cai, header, exhaust and itr tranny.

you said you had a Civic CX?

thats no ek9.

Now's no time to get particular. I was referring to the chassis, and yes..I may be mistaken. I'm not on par with everyone else and their chassis codes.

Both of the Civic's were CX model's. My '00 and the '92.

You have an EJ6. EK9 is the JDM RHD Civic Type-R.

Thank you sir, for clearing that up with me like an adult rather than trying to be a douche about it.
