compuvision02
Well, to start, you don't have to do any of that to get the motor in. Upgrading the camshafts, pistons, rods, and suspension all have to do with what you want out of the car. Do you want to go turbo or all motor? I'm guessing turbo by your choice of engine and your username.

DTC.Monster
we're doing LS Turbo to my boys car, so if you are going turbo, then you dont really have to upgrade anything unless you want to use high psi.. i mean the stock internals are suppost to be able to handle up to 14-15 psi because of its compression.. you can always go with the CP pistons and some stronger rod bolts if you're on a budget but want more power. Rick B.
stock internals to run safely, 6-8psi. 10 is pushing it. definitely need a good tune too. dont forget that.
..SSR..
PSI doesn't mean anything. What will you be using the car for?
