Teggy_97GS
ok, so i know there are a million post about lsvtec but i wanna post one of my own. I have a 97 GS and was thinking about doing the swap. I just bought a gsr head, and was wondering what else i need. What type of pistons, how about cam gears and such??? cranny
you can leave everything the way it is. use GSR campullys and GSR timing belt. you need to buy yourself a golden eagle conversion kit. you need ARP rod bolts for your LS rods as stock is too weak. you need a GSR oil pump. you need a B series DOHC(B16 , GSR , ITR all same) water pump. you can run P30(JDM B16A) pistons in it with LS rods and crank , or USDM B16(PR3) pistons which are not quite as good but still good. you need GSR head bolts , or GSR ARP headstud kit. if you run B16A pistons in it , youl be close to 200 horse. supreme gas only though. you need a P72 ECU. all i can think of right now , i think thats it. EH6TunerDaniel
You should also get a VTEC volume knob.

GsrCrx
Yeah its right next to the blinker fluid... but to get to that you have to take the belts off the flux capacitor.
