RedSolAZ
Ok TRanny needs rebuilt/swapped. I can get a tranny locally for around $100-$150. Rebuild cost more than that. I Drive a 94 Si Sol with the SOHC. I was told that the Civic EX has the same tranny? Is that Correct? The problem I having is that I'm finding S20 tranny from an EX Civic but also S20's from the DX and CX as well. Is there a way to tell which tranny I'm looking at. I don't want to lose my gear ratios by swapping lets say a CX tranny in which would improve my gas milage (who cares) but lose power. Someone help methe only thing I know about transmitions is how to take out and put in.
Hatch92
the EX tranny is the same with your sol's. as for the s20. the s20 is has the same gears as any other s20.
mycarsux
Its spelled "transmissions". Not "transmitions". Just FYI.

reewinder
Hey now......this is what he said in his post.... "Someone help methe only thing I know about transmitions is how to take out and put in." So technically that would cover the knowing how to spell it correctly. Guess he gets a "get out of jail free" card. :whip:
