Jdmbb601
Hey i know that the bb6 prelude is a pretty heavy car considering it is a coupe but are there any easy solutions to cuuting the weight?
airjordan223
are you looking to autocross this car? if you are, the back seats and all the rear carpet, the passenger seat, basically everything except for the drivers seat. if you still want it for a DD, then ac and power steering might help a little, but not muc

..SSR..
Remove the sound deadening material under the carpet and in the trunk. Remove the tar from the fender wells and under the chassis. Remove PS, AC, heater core, heater ducts, radio/speakers. Racing seats (real racing seats) remove airbags remove unnecessary wires lexan windows composite body panels titanium rods flywheel header headwork roller cams clutch radiator light wheels acid dip then stich weld the chassis (removes ~15% of the weight from the chassis) etc.

90IntegraC1
love it, wish the rims were gunmetal to go with the CF hood, but they still look great nontheless.
Pyrorocketeer
What is this stitch weld you speak of.....? I know what it is......its a technique in welding to reduce heat warp..... how may I ask does this drop 15% of the weight?
..SSR..
The acid dip dissolves some of the metal of the chassis. Also dissolves all glue, tar, etc on the chassis. 15% of the bare chassis weight, not the gross chassis weight.
