Chubs
You may have a short in one of the wires.
Jeffro
Did you check the fuse boxes inside the front doors? I know there is one inside the drivers door, and I'm pretty sure there is one on the passenger side, too. I'd start there...
Hondawill
Its's probably your brake light switch on the pedal
hlo11
I have checked all the bulbs and all of them look good, i have checked the fuses in the hood and did not find any fuses for the tail lights in the cabin in the driver nor passenger door. If it is a break light switch i think i could fix it, but how do i go about checking if there is a short in the wires? thanks all for the reply... hlo11
also, if it is a stop light switch, how do i check if it is functional? I checked it when i looked for a fuse and the button underneath that releases it still comes out. So what can i do?
Hondawill
Honda's very rarely have shorts in wires. You can pick up a switch cheap. Just unplug it and there is 1 14mm nut that allows for adjustment and keeps it tight. Easy to replace. I replace those all the time at work.
