CleanGSR
I just thought I would share a recent detail with anyone on here who cares. This one was in pretty rough shape with oxidation, contamination, and swirls, etc.... Cleaned up rather nicely I think, and customer was very pleased. Process: Wash with ONR Clay w/ ONR as lube M80, Green Propel Pad, PC Speed 5 M21 x 2 by PC Blue Propel Pad Megs Hot Shine on Tires Mothers Back to Black on trim Stoners Invisible Glass Interior was really clean and pretty straightforward so no pics. Hard to see but paint was really dirty and oxidized. Look at all the stuff in the clearcoat after washing with ONR. Before This was my Clay Bar after half of the hood. The hood and trunk lid were really bad and the rest of the car was pretty normal. Headlight Before Headlight After (M80 w/ PC on headlights) Afters (really cloudy so picks aren't that great....sorry) Thanks for looking.

Monty
Yeah, it looks hella better. I was checking out your site earlier and was like "wow, I should get him to detail my car" but it probably wouldn't help, with my non-paved driveway
TS John
Looks good, man. I'd be happy to have it.
Hatch92
great job. looks sweet. what do you use for road tar?
CleanGSR
Normally I would use a tar remover from Stoner's, if it was isolated, but this car had tiny little tar spots throughout the hood, so I just got rid of it by claying really well. Needless to say, my claybar is trash after this detail.
Hatch92
if you can get your hands on it i would suggest red hot for the interior and removing clay. if's an industrial cleaner, reeaaaly strong. we used to use it at the garage i worked at when i detailed cars. CleanGSR
What do you mean remove the clay? There's no clay to remove......the clay removes the contamination. I'm sure I'm misunderstanding you. If you are talking about a brand of clay, I really like Clay Magic best....used Megs this time though cause I was out of CM. If you're referring to the clay lube, then the ONR works great and is a really good deal price wise.
Hatch92
no, red hot is a spray used to clean realy dirty interior and also for removing tar, and stubborn dirt off cars. Edit: it comes in a bottle like windex.
CleanGSR
Oh, gotcha. I'm really impressed with the Stoner's Tar remover for being OTC and cheap. Spray it on and let it set for about 2 minutes and it wipes off like dirt. Has the same effect on bugs.
Hatch92
not bad i'll have to try that. i'm sure it's cheaper too.
