anabrolic
just got my car back today after i swapped my d16y8 out for another one as i blew the old one. mechanic told me i need a new pilot bushing because my old one is worn out and its causing my clutch to act up a bit.. the car was driving great then the good old check engine light came on. so i went back to him i told him that when it went on my car would start bucking in first and second gear. it would jump a bit when i would hit the gas and let up on the gas..the check engine light read something like an error with the idle air. he sprayed some cleaner and reved it up a few times. i left with no problems. he told me he thinks if it keeps doing it he was going to take the old valve off the other engine and swap them out. it happend again after work. and at idle it was jumping up slightly and sounded like a heartbeat. now after all that my question sorta goes like this.. he told me about the bad bushing peice, and told me about the idle air valve problem. he said that they wouldnt go hand in hand. but what ive noticed and payed attention to is that the car only bucks like that when the light is on and when its off it has absolutely no problem..could this error cause a problem with the way the car is jumping? thanks in advance. cranny
it definitely is. you need idle air control valve. if your getting a light than you prolly need a new one , usually you can clean em and put em back on , but thats without a light.
