1badc5
:- Anyways, My name is Ian. I own a 1998 Nassua blue C5 Corvette. It's running 442 to the rear and 440 lb/ft torque. Anyways, this looks like an interesting forum and I'd love to learn about the Import side of the "which car is better" argument. Thanks for letting me join ;)
Monty
To be honest, neither is better. They both have their ups and downs, just like anything else. Your corvette for instance, 100% chance you'd blow my accord's doors off in a race. But also, my accord has a 100% chance of getting better gas mileage. It's just all personal preference, personally, I've owned a Firebird, a mazda 4wd pickup, and my accord. I know my accord won't go as fast as my firebird used to, but I also know that my firebird wasn't as economical. and my pickup,....well that thing is just fun. Oh yeah, Welcome to the Honda Forums

compuvision02
Sick C5, sleeper as hell with the stock wheels, but I bet it is loud! My friend just did a 402 LS2 swap in his 2001 WS-6, nasty camshaft, thing is rediculous. You should put some polished Y2K wheels on there, that would really set off that blue! I miss my LS-series GM. :(
1badc5
It is loud. I started it up not too long ago and it set off a few car alarms around me(no exessive revving ;) ). My DD is a Grand Prix GTP supercharged. Hopefully I can rebuild it in two years with no problems . I was on the street riding down a little road, when a trans am pulled behind my with 3 immature-looking kids staring at my vette. I downshifted and floored it for about 5 seconds, looked in the mirror and they were even closer. So I pulled it over into a gas station. Turns out the thing has 680 RWHP headers with catback exhaust no cats. It sounded loud, but didn't think it was THAT loud .
compuvision02
Damn what the hell did they have done to that? 680whp on a LS1, unless they swapped engines, sounds like either a large cam with nitrous or cam and supercharged.
