VR17
you want to swap a DOHC VTEC V6 motor in your civic?.. i think the only one would be the NSX motor, which is mid-engine RWD.. dont know how that will work.. why not just buy an Acura CL.. as for V6 swap its most likely not going to with, but if you do have alot of money to blow, you need custom mounts and some fabrication.. personally just build a b-series motor. youl be happy then some crazy idea like a V6 swap :ph343r:

TS John
I think you'd be very happy with a GSR engine in your civic. And that's only a 1.8L

mycarsux
B20 block B18C head, = 2.0 and vtec CR-VTEC was the first thing that came to your mind?? I was gonna say like a K20 or an F20
..SSR..
Why are you stuck on DOHC VTEC. SOHC non-VTEC F22 heads flows way better than a DOHC VTEC Integra Type R head.
That Guy
CR-VTEC was the first thing that came to your mind?? I was gonna say like a K20 or an F20 no it wasnt the first, but considering i have a gsr head sittin next to me and i plan on doin that build pretty soon it was in my mind, and to stay close to what he wanted. i was thinking more along the lines of easier and cheaper. crvtec would give him what he wants, 2.0 and vtec. ya a k20 would too but it costs a little more. and im not stuck on dohc vtec, you know i have a sohc non vtec. im basing my answer on a reasonable everyday type swap, not what head flows the best. les.delancy
I'm probably way off here. but I thought Id seen an accord with a DOHC VTEC V6, or was it just a SOHC VTEC? I'm new to this, but I've been working on cars for ever. I thought I had seen this, but I am getting old and cray!
