92civic
I want to build a engine thta will directly bolt back into my civic cx. It already has a d15b7 in it. I want to build a shortblock that I can pull some major rpm's with safely and that can be beat with out having to worry about something breaking. What do I need? All fordged components I am guessing? And a good valvtrain and valve springs. What do you guys think? What is the best short block to get that will directly bolt back in? Can you stroke the 1.5? cranny
stroking an engine will make it not last as long in the long run. if you want high revs , you want less stroke , higher compression.
92civic
What about the 2.2 vtecs? How are they?
..SSR..
Bad. If you want an F/H series, get the F20B. It can handle 9,000+ no problem (not stock though). Why do you want to rev high? You need short gearing to take advantage of a high peak power. Put something together and set your fuel cut 200 RPM above peak power unless you need more RPM in a certain gear so you don't have to shift while turning (if you track it).
