JasonHinds
I just bought a 2004 SI H/B, and I'm anxious to beef it up a bit. The previous owner took great care of this car, so it looks and feels brand new. I'm using this as my daily driver, so the mods will have to be on the mild side - for now. I was thinking of starting with an intake, exhaust, and maybe some new springs or coilovers, but there are so many products to choose from that I have no idea where to begin. Intake - I was leaning toward the longer version that pulls cold air from the bottom of the car, vs. the short-ram version that sits where the factory airbox is located. Exhaust - I'm looking for something that is not obnoxiously loud (think coffee-can mufflers), but adds a nice, throaty note on acceleration, and adds some HP. Stance - I would like to lower the car, but I'm not looking for a really serious drop. Just enough to remove the fender gap and maintain a decent ride on city streets. Does anyone else have any experience with this car, and what you consider to be the "must-have" bolt-ons?
TS John
Sounds like a great car. Good names for intakes: Password JDM (I have this and love it) AEM (Most people have these and love them) Good names for headers: DC sports (excellent price/quality match) SMS Products (expensive but better...) Exhausts (for deeper non-ricey): Greddy Tanabe (Both about equal price, so I'd look for styles/sound clips online) Shocks/Springs/Coilovers: Tokico (I have the Illumina 5-way adjustable shocks w/1.5" lowering springs and I love it but it is a bit harsh -- not bouncy at all, but it sucks in the city) Tein (little pricier but I've heard good things) Omnipower (get their coilover set if you have the money) Ground Control (get their coilover set if you have more money, haha...) Do some searching around on this forum and online. There's lots of threads about this already so you'll get some good info quick. Hopefully someone else can tell you some specifics for your car -- I don't know much about them since I have a sol....

90IntegraC1
the only problem with them is they're heavy.... i beat one with my almost stock LS by about 1 1/2 cars from a 20-110 roll... all i have is 8 lb flywheel, stg 1 clutch and pp, and an intake (didn't have it at the time)
