heysidays
Hi Guys From the UK. Nice Website. Bought a new shape Honda Civic not so long ago (323miles). the model is a 2.2 cdti. The diesel tank sits below and inbetween the passenager and drivers seats to offer a better centre of gravity (as I am sure you are all aware). However when the tank is more than half full you can hear the diesel sloshing around below you which is rather irritating. Honda are aware of the problem but as yet have not brought a fix solution. I have been told by my local dealer they may never do. Its a bit crapty really when you pay 17grand for a car and it feels and sounds like you are on a bloody canal barge/boat. However the rest of the car is fine (apart for dodgy rear shockers and a rattle coming from drivers door, both are to be fixed this week) and I am really pleased with it. It is well built and a pleasure to drive. The reason for the post really is to find out how many other people on here own one or have had experience of this problem with the diesel or petrol tank. It would be interesting to know you views and what you have done about it. I have sent a letter to Honda Uk outlining my dissapointment but as yet have had no reply. Any replies would be most welcome. Chris
