As of right now the 360 because of the price and its been out for a year so most of the bugs are worked, but if you wait you may find the PS3 is better once Sony gets it act together. Also either one you get consider a HDTV and Surround Sound it brings it so much further above last gens.

Sony's act is together. They kept the PS3 in production as long as they needed to.

The 360 was rushed and had alot of problems over heating and locking up.

The PS3 had one glitch so far at launch and that was audio failed on like 200 titles from earlier gen consoles but that was fixed with a patch.

The PS3 craps on the 360. You might not beleive it until you actually play the PS3. But if your not too much into gaming and dont want to spend 600.00 then that 360 is probably the better choice.

Forza>Turismo 4

NFS is now on 360...

I have yet to have any problems with my 360 overheating, so long as you keep it in a semi-open spot... If you are worried you can get the 20 dollar fan for the back and it will NEVER have a problem overheating..

i was talking to some guy [some game freak] and he told me that the ps3 was going to be like a computer and there was going to be updates and what not if this is true thats a

+1 for ps3

Yes, there are already updates out as well.

PS3, unless you're into sports games... it seems the majority of the 360 titles are sports, and that's just lame. There really aren't any 360 titles that I would want to pay the $59.99 for... especially to play on a Microsoft system.

yeah you can run Linux on it and stuff.

plus cook hamburgers.... Ps3 Grill

And Gran Turismo 4 > Forza.... by far.

LOL, seems like the 360 should be the grill though, since it is known to overheat (unless they fixed that finally, but I doubt MS bothered to heh).

Why is the PS3 priced so high? Nintendo Wii seems like the most fun out of the 3 and it only costs $250. Can't beat that.

It costs more than the $499 and $599 to build it at this point. If you factor in the blu-ray player, then blu-ray players sell for $999 alone right now, so it's a bargain right there lol.

its the exact same thing as when the ps2 came out. first thing with a dvd player, and dvd players were selling for more than a ps2. hopefully blu-ray doesnt die out or else it will be pointless

Yup. I got a DVD player for Christmas when the PS2 came out (first run), since my mom couldn't get one. It's a Sony, and the newer models of the one I have sell for around $70-100 now. As for Blu-Ray, it's hard to say at this point. It would be great if it doesn't die out (although I don't have experience with BR or HD-DVD yet)... so far it's doing better than beta did, it seems that more companies are behind it. It's going to be a while before people really jump on to either one, though.
