90IntegraC1
Today we celebrated my birthday, and I really don't mean to brag or anything, but I haven't had my own tool set ever, so I need to show someone.....so here you go, this is what I got. All Craftsman 155-piece Ratchet Set Jack and Jack Stands 50-piece Screwdriver Set Tool Box Fender Cover Rolling Seat Magnetic Dish If anyone needs tools, just come over. got a couple other things in the pic like Acura belt buckle, slippers and Saosin t-shirt from the girl, and some cash money... header and exhaust coming soon. here's my lizard. EH6TunerDaniel
Damn, Im jealous of the tools. I use a 155 piece set when we work on cars around here, its not mine. I dont like the fact that the wrenches only go up to a 15 though, because I wish I had a 17 a lot more often.
90IntegraC1
yeah, well i need a 17, so i'll just buy a single at some point...
EH6TunerDaniel
Also a 32mm socket is pretty useful for the axle nuts.
90IntegraC1
32mm, damn that's large. i want an air compresser and a torque wrench
EH6TunerDaniel
Good torque wrenches are expensive. I wish I had one, but I do have access to one. Having an air compressor and air tools is pretty awesome, it makes projects go pretty quick. I also like having it when removing struts from the back LCA's. I think it breaks them loose if they are frozen, so you dont have to worry about messing it up.
Attaus
Damn, that's a nice setup. Having the right tools rawks. An air compressor will be the most. Impact wrenches can be purchased for like $50-70 and torque wrenches (as long as you don't get a friggen Husky Pro like me) should only be $25-30. 90IntegraC1
yeah my buddy's dad has everything you could imagine. i love to use his air tools when i go over there, but now he's starting to charge me $10 every time lol, it sucks. Everything over there is Craftsman, Dewalt, Snap-on, and Stanley for cheap things...very nice!
Buddy Cole
my pops has all the tools you could ever need for anything. its soo awsome. we have a lathe, table saws, taping bits, sockets, welders, anything. it sucks when i go to my moms and she has like a screw driver, and that it. i <3 tools. i use em all the time. can't beat a great set o tools. Pyrorocketeer
Yeah I don't know what I'd do without my air compressor and air tools. Make stuff go so much quicker. Only drawback is that we need another one for when I sandblast or I'm using my da pretty hard. 120gal drains pretty quick. I mainly use my brothers tools, cause my dad keeps mostly all of his at work. What I really want to get after my primer and finishing guns, is a spool gun for my mig welder so I can learn to weld aluminum.
airjordan223
wow man, thats awesome. you finally got jackstands so you wont crush your head. but you shouldve gotten the 32 piece set because it comes with a free gift and its not a lizard, hes a dragon

21JumpStreet
nice slippers. About 3 months ago i invested in buying one of those special holding tools for the HOnda crankshaft. Pretty useful. I had an oil leak at one point behind the crankshaft pulley and an air compressor by itself didn't even work. got it on ebay for 12 bucks.
