My jack decided to slip off of the frame support in the center of the front of the car, and went upward (obviously) into ?something?. not sure what it hit, but antifreeze began spilling everywhere. i am thinking it might be the radiator, but what do i know. any ideas? and if it is the radiator, how hard is it to replace?

No, it probably hit the oil pan. JK.

Radiator is easy to replace dude, I did mine in about 15 minutes when mine was cracked. You dont have to drain the fluid now, since it already all came out. Just take off the 2 hoses, and its like 4 10mm bolts on top, then reverse process with the new one. Dont forget to fill it, or you will overheat.

Why did you have the car jacked up in the front from the rad support?

cause thats where your supposed to pick the whole front of the car up at once , lol. theres a hump on the middle of the underneath of civics . tegs , and accords , for jacking. its in your manuals. BUT , your supposed to make sure its centered and wont fall off , lol. easy fix dude. drain rad , plastic wing bolt on the bottom passenger side of rad , youl find it. than take upper and lower rad hoses off. than unplug fans or fan without A/C. than take 10mm bolts holding rad to upper rad support , where the hood latch is. than pull it straight up.take fans off , fire them on new rad , reverse it.

never lay under a car with only a jack holding the car up. your life isnt worth the risk. you could be that rad.

ha yea thats a good way to think about it. thanks for all the replies, they will be useful. i was puttin in the header and exhaust, and had it up on ramps. and to take it off, i jack it up in the center to pull the ramps out. (cause its lowered). guess i was rushing, and didnt pay enough attention this time. anywho, thanks for all the help guys.
