dtgingerich
Hi, I have a 2002 Accord LE, about 50,000 miles. It is garage kept. Shortly after purchasing it, I noticed spider veining on the hood. Since then, it has increased and now it's chipping off. Any ideas? Is this common. Previously had a 1992 model and it's paint was good quality. Thanks
airjordan223
if its only chipping on the hood and the rest is in good condition, you could have a body shop paint it to match for a couple hundred
cranny
yeah it happens. not very often in hondas though. they might not even have to paint , just scuff it and reclear.
Jeffro
One of my friends around here has been having that happen all over his accord, although I'll have to look at what year it is. I know its a purple coupe, and its a 6th gen. He didn't take care of his paint though (waxing and washing) so he admits he doesn't care about it. I've got 168,000 miles on my 2000 and I haven't noticed any paint problems. No problems with rust either, like my 1993 with the classic cancer around the rear wheel-wells... lol
