92civic
Ok I have a 92 civic hb,it was lowered when I got it with the cheap coil overs and it rides like total sheot!!!! It is so ruff on bumps and when I hit big bumps I almost hit my head on the roof and it feels like by back end is about to bounce of the ground >_< . Worst riding car I have ever driven(fine on smooth roads)actually pisses me off when I hit big bumps its so bad . Any way.............I think you can just put springs or something in? I don't know the only thing I have ever lowered before is a few s-10's. What kind of springs should I go with to keep it lowered, but actually ride ok? And what do I need to buy to do it just springs? Or need coil overs???
chicotunner95
i dont think only putting springs will totally solve ur problem, it will feel a little better, but sounds like ur shoks are totally dead, which usually happends when lowering a car on stock shocks, but ur best bet is to buy springs and new shocks, i had tokico blues on mine, it was smooth but stiff at the same time, and theyre not expensive at all
92civic
Coil overs don't have shocks do they?
EH6TunerDaniel
"Real" coilovers do, but sleeves dont.

Kegger
It rides like crap because your spring rates are double what they should be. You'd have a better ride if you put solid sleeves around your struts. The springs you have don't compress as much as they should and the car just sits on top of them. So the car doesn't use the springs to absorb shock, it bounces on top of the springs resulting in your sh**y ride quality. Put some decent springs or coilovers and some new shocks and you'll be straight. Comptech has some good stuff for a damn good price.
