Im new to civics and I want to gain more ponies without having to do a motor swap at least until next winter. im gonna slap on a header and exaust and I have a dual point injection that i want to convert over to multi point and im not quite sure what all I need to do this my engine is sohc manual 4 speed and I believe it is a d15 judging from other pics ive seen of that engine. I am bidding on a manifold on ebay out of an 89 si/ex D16a6 that I think will fit after reading a few forums here but still not positive if anyone can help me soon at least for my manifold question I would greatly appreciate it

Intake, header and exhaust will gain you a few HP. You'll get conflicting advice on the dual point - multi point conversion. You do indeed have the D15B2 I believe. If you're planning on buying a header in the future, why would you bid on a manifold now?

I meant its a multi point intake manifold off an 89 si/ex D16a6 and I was wondering if anyone knew if it would fit a D15B2 head or what all parts are needed for proper installation to convert my car from dual point to multi. also will this interfere with getting emissions done on the car?

dude you might as well buy the whole swap cuz your gonna need the harness and ecu to run it right. and the swap is one of the easiest ones to do. it will bolt right in with no problems and you can use your stock tranny.

Edit: But you should go ahead and put a D16Z6 in it. SOHC VTEC motor that is perfect for a turbo. And it's pretty damn easy to put in. JUst get the harnes, ecu, motor and distributor and youre set. All you really need to do is just switch driver side mounts and brackets. And again you can use your stock tranny, but go ahead and put in an Si tranny, better acceleration.
