bprhoden
I was wondering if both fans are supposed to ben running as the car is at idle speed and when the temperature guage is rising. My current problem seems to be either the driver side fan is not kicking on or the thermostat is shot. I was wondering if both fans should be running at the same time or is one a reserve fan. 90IntegraC1
one fan is the cooling fan and one is the A/C fan, if the cooling fan breaks, then the A/C fan takes over it's duties. Most likely you'll need to replace your thermostat b/c the one you have now is faulty. This is a very common problem in Honda's.
cranny
id replace relay first , more common in accords for relays to go for fan control. but , if the car is overheating , and yet you have no heat comming out of the vents when you turn it on , its a thermo.
