Well...I was right, I got bored again of studying, so I went out, and moved the frame into the garage for a close inspection....

 

This is what I found....

A little cancer on the center tunnel....

As a whole, its not in bad shape for being 42 years old.

So now I have to get some sheetmetal and go at it here this week, so I can have the pans on by the weekend! maybe I'll be able to sandblast it, and possibly paint this weekend, before it gets too cold around here!

 

edit: do a few of those pics look funny? I think my camera is acting screwy....

its not too bad , little work there. makes it so much more a pain in the ass when you have to use thicker steel as well. hate bending and beating that crap , lol. what you gonna use for the tunnel and frame members , 14 guage? little heavier maybe. them things are tanks , lol.
