92ge
no the gas is not empty...but would the alternator determine if the car is gonna start or not? i mean i can hear it crank...but nothing...i had my brother go and crank the motor and i had the spark plug on the wire and held it to ground....but no spark... cranny
take your dizzy cap off and see if the rotor turns with the engine when you crank it , if it doesnt , you broke a timing belt. ive also seen the rotor come loose in the dizzy more than a few times. does it sound different than usual when turning it over? if so im going with timing belt.
