Pyrorocketeer
hydraulic clutch or cable. lol the adapters switch back and forth between the two. cable = better feel hydro = less effort
xer0
cable = mechical linkiage / cable from the clutch peddel to the tranny Hydro = hydrolic line can be run anywhere so its easyer to place and cheaper for car makers. less moven parts less to break. Pyrorocketeer
They aren't cheaper, not by far...... a cable is cheaper, than a master cyl, and a slave cyl.
TS John
It's possible that hydros are cheaper now just because of a greater supply, but a cable is deffo cheaper than a hydraulic assist system for your pedals.

90IntegraC1
oh well yeah i suppose the clutch, pp, and flywheel courtesy of Clutchmasters makes me kind of biased towards my set-up lol
Pyrorocketeer
You can actually feel engagement with a cable. as a driver of a before and after, I liked the cable better, plus it gave my leg a workout.
Kastigir
In most situations, cable clutches have a better feel to them. I've owned/driven cars with both, and hydros, with the exception of my '80 280ZX, my '96 Talon, and a buddies '93 Si, have all felt like crap. chicotunner95
ok so all stock civics are hydro right, that little line running from the clutch master cylinder to the sleigh cylinder makes it a hydro right, how bout k series, are they hydro or cable, what does a cable tranny look like? Pyrorocketeer
it has a cable attatched to the throwout arm, where you usually would have a slave cyl. lol
