Performance upgrade?

how much are you looking to spend?

if you only want to spend a few hundred, then get an air intake, chip, and mandel bent exhaust. that should really improve performance over stock. then down the road, less rectrictive headers, turbo, intercooler, fuel pump, gears, nitrous, etc...

In this months issue of SCC (Sport Compact Car) there is an article where I think Comptech has just introduced a SuperCharger for the V6 Accords which I think boosted around 40 hp's.  When I get home from work, I'll have more information for you.  I could be totally wrong.

i believe it. i just thought that it was strange that he never heard of a turbocharged honda. there are two of them near me that i know of. and they dont have problems with blown gaskets and cracked heads

The new issue of Super Street (June 2002) has a V6 Accord in there thatis very nicely hooked up........i say take a look at that just to get any idea of what your car could ( and probably should) look like......

well...i wouldnt have bought a V6 accord in the first place.  i would have gotten the weaker engine and then replaced it w/ the H22...that is...if i REALLY liked the looks of the accord.  infact i woulda just bought a prelude.  plus...if im not mistaken, the V6 accords do not come in manual

hey dpt there a lot of things you can do to it my advise would be to get the basic bolt-ons i.e. header, intake, exhaust and then add a nitrous kit from NX if you dont go with Nitrous you could also get some platinum plugs.

Hell, I heard that Comptech came out with a supercharger for the V6 Accord not to long ago. Expensive and I heard it didn't do to much in terms of performance, I think the car ran 14's and added 50 hp for like 2 grand? On second thought scratch that whole idea about Comptech......

a 50hp shot of nos if u wanna spend about $500

 

If You install a turbo urself for around $200 adds 30hp

 

or a nice carbon fiber air intake will get u 30hp for about $250 if u install it urself

 

u get get two N1 mufflers of 1 dependeing if u have twin exaust which would add 10-25 hp $120-1000

 

racing fuel enconomy chip will aout 25hp and for $300-500

ok trepid already said this dude was banned. i think that if u buy a car u should do the essentials(CAI,Header,Exhaust,Cams,Cam Sprockets,Bore,Head Work,Turbo[Maybe],wheels,tires). those be my basics

basic is just the bolt ons.. air intake, exhaust, headers, ignitionn wires, spark plugs... thats what i had in my previous car..along with a 50 shot. oh the good ol' days :(
