tegilator Posted September 5, 2006 Share Posted September 5, 2006 what are the specs for my gap in between the cam and the lifters, because i have little tick. i have a b18a1 turbo. i put the a1 in my 95 teg instead if mt 91. so i have solid race mounts(cost me 300), stage 1 clutch 8lb flywheel, and skunk2 obd0 to 0bd1 conversion. all of this is brand new never used, and it is for obd0 tegs. make offers zeke240@hotmail.com or 985 264 2385. i can set up ebay auction if yall feel safer that way Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cranny Posted September 6, 2006 Share Posted September 6, 2006 only DOHC VTEC engines ride direct pyro , on a fulcrum. B18B1 and A1 engines do not. totally different setup as VTEC engines. your valve clearance is as follows , bone cold engine of course: for intake valves: .003 - .005 (in inches) ; .08 - .12mm. for exhaust valves: .006 - .008 (inches) ; .16 - .20mm i suggest not being off even a little bit if your not used to doing this.
