roninzorz Posted September 3, 2006 Share Posted September 3, 2006 I have a 1992 Honda Prelude with an H22A. I just went to the state referee and i failed the smog because my timing was off. I've been to different mechanics and they were worthless....i need to know the timing it has to be at. I cant find it anywhere. cranny Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 15 degrees usually around there. but you have to disable your ecu's ability to compensate before you use a timing gun. could be why your having a prolem. the same 2 pin connector you use to read the codes , you cross it to disable real time timing adjustments. than you can put a timing light on it.
