Caliper Rubbing Alloy Wheel

Just put my new wheels onto my Honda Civic Coupe 1.6 lsi 1997.

All the wheels went on perfectly. Drove around the corner and noticed a rubbing noise. Pulled over and noticed that my brake calipers where rubbing against the inside of the alloy wheel.

My existing wheels are 17 inch and replaced them also with 17 inch. And even the same tyre size 205/40/17.

Please see below the grooved out alloy wheels.

Just bought some 5mm spacer.

Fitted them on.. and the wheels do clear the brake calipers... Which is great.

But the problem is that the spacer itself, are touching against the wall of the brake calipers...

Are there any smaller spacers?

well i guess since spacers don't really support any weight or anything you could prolly just grind them down where they rub. do you mean the spacer has too large a diameter, cuz if so then just grind them smaller intil they stop rubbing. if you feel up to it use a grinding wheel or take it to any machine shop.
