Pballer2005 Posted July 14, 2006 Share Posted July 14, 2006 christ why is everyone so angry. lexan is more scratch RESISTANT, doesn't mean it wont scratch, just means it's less likely to. plus its lighter than autoglass. they make safety glasses and bulletproof windows out of them for a reason. i think my regular prescription glasses are some type of lexan compound, they do have scratches but very few and i've dropped them in rocks and dirst and stuff. i've been in a car accident with them too and the frames were bent to hell but the lenses were fine, other than a few minor scratches (they were thrown from the vehicle when it rolled on a dirt road) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
