do you want to keep the texture of the panels or is smooth ok? pretty much all you do is sand down the panels (after removing them from the car of course), you dont need a primer, just point and spray. hold the can at least 6 inches away from the panels and "sweep" the paint horizontally across the panel. the first coat doesnt have to be thick and can even be a little splotchy. do at least three coats of paint to get a good rich color

light coats are the best, and you should lightly sand between each coat after it dries. make sure when you start each swipe, you spray off of the panel and then move onto it, so you dont get blotches on the ends when the paint first comes out.

Yeah looks like a lottt of red I totally agree but its really not that much. Look heres a pic of what it will look like on the car. Next step is to paint the dash black if i can ever get it off and then redo my doors in Vinyl a red and black. If u look in the following pic the red on the doors will stay red but the white will be black. Thanks for everyones feedback so far I'll be sure to post pics when its on the car

yeah i used red velvet, and im working on covering the rest of the gray with black suede. heres my site if you want to check it out again, www.cardomain.com/id/airjordan223. if you buy vinyl you could do it yourself. vinyl will be a lot easier because you can heat it up some to stretch, then glue. make sure you get a good 3m spray adhesive.
