REDLINEperformance
Every time I floor the gas on my 2000 civic si, it bogs out and engine tends to shut off. Theres no check engine light on. Ive changed out the spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, even added some intake headers exhaust, and it still bogs out. What could it be?!!!! HELP ME, HELP ME PLEASE! sohcVTEC-E
I'd say maybe bad gas or dirty injectors
REDLINEperformance
It drives fine when I drive normal though. Its just whenever I gas it hard, it bogs out and dies. I even used fuel system treatment cleaner, it still does it.

Hatch92
sounds like ur gettin 2 much fuel, and not enought air, or too much air and not enough fuel...
Secksi
does it do it as your RPM's hit a certain point or just from putting the petal down? If its shutting down with the high RPM's then change out your Coil. If not i would say sounds like injectors.
cranny
might be your dizzy as well. if it was a sensor(something to do with fuel and air delivery), youd be getting a light. id bet on something in your dizzy.

Try distributor cap and new injectors... Most likely it will one of the two...Distributor caps are pretty cheap too so I suggest going with that route first

cranny
could be a CPS(crank position sensor) as well. located under lower plastic timing belt cover , next to crank timing belt pully.
SolLesHonda
Definitely could be, it's just not everyday that something like that decides to go on ya.
REDLINEperformance
Thanks for all the feedback guys, but I found the problem. It was a bad distributor. I changed out the cap and rotor but didnt change out the coil. It was the coil the whole time. Thanks for ya help guys!
blk99SI
could be a CPS(crank position sensor) as well. located under lower plastic timing belt cover , next to crank timing belt pully. That should throw a check engine light if it was a sensor
