TXCatalyst
I bought this car used and am trying to add a/c. It's 98 Civic DX Hatchback with b16a2 - I have an a/c compressor which I thought was from a 98 DX, but it's a few millimeters off for the bracket. Is it a good assumption, I must buy a 99-2000 Civic SI a/c compressor ? I wasn't aware that Honda would change the a/c compressors for the 6th gens?? Or is it because it is a different motor entirely ? Which a/c compressor should I get for a B16a2 ?
cranny
you can use your compressor but youl need B16 brackets for the engine block. you might need spacers like washers to get pulleys to align properly. i added P/S to a B16 swapped integra did same thing im telling you , B16 brackets , the original pump. Does it also apply to a b18b1 in a 95 civic-hb? I do have the b18b1 a/c bracket
