GSss10Trunks
I think the the mosts bang for your buck is the well rounded JDM B16A2
dcletten
eh, id have to disagree, id say start with an ls(fairly cheap) then either turbo that, or throw a b16 head on and then turbo it, but thats if you want turbo
SolLesHonda
I started my CRVTEC yesterday. If you can afford K20, PM me, I'll get you a crazy setup.

90IntegraC1
do they have a mount kit for the k20/k24?? ls-vtec + boost is my vote. solLess- what did you do? pics?

SolLesHonda
Yeah same mounts work. LS VTEC boosted is an awesome build. CRVTEC boosted is even better if you resleeve properly. My tuner's shop had one make 702whp. CRVTEC NA is excellent too. That's why I'm doing it. I went to the tuner I use and started talking parts, and will be ordering some soon. I am looking for a B16 trans right now, which is damn near impossible to find for a decent price.

EH6TunerDaniel
Might sound wierd, but check Autozone. May have a cheap one. I bought mine for $600.
mountaindewguy
if you do any kind of frankenstein build, and boost it, tune it or you'll pretty much burn your cash.
JDM_Hamster
I think the the mosts bang for your buck is the well rounded JDM B16A2 I cant believe nobody corrected him, oh well i will... There is no such thing as a JDM B16A2, its a JDM B16A... And i would go with the JDM B16A...
Hatch92
I cant believe nobody corrected him, oh well i will... There is no such thing as a JDM B16A2, its a JDM B16A... SolLesHonda
Damn, Hamsternuts, a frackin Noob told you to shut up. That's weak. Dude, B16a swaps are gay. Not worth the money. Do GSR.
mountaindewguy
b16a? yeahhhh, lets throw an OBD0 motor in there...

93blackH22
f*ck b16's. hahaha that had alot of relevence to this guys question
SolLesHonda
b16a? yeahhhh, lets throw an OBD0 motor in there... They make B16A in OBD-1 as well. It's just the JDM one. Here it would be the A2. And secondly, if your car came with a B16, then keep it, it is a great platform, but just not worth swapping to. It's not even fast. I'd rather have a D16z6. JDM_Hamster
D16Z6's suck ass, so is that why you are doing a CRVTEC swap instead of a D16Z6 swap again SolLes?!?
B16A3DelSolVTEC
It's a little costly but i would say B16B, B18C5, or B16A. Thats just what i think.
EH6TunerDaniel
Wouldnt do any of those, If i were to swap to a B series I would use a B18C1.
SolLesHonda
GSR most def. Hamster- the reason I am going B20 is because I want to get a bigger displacement motor and more torque. If I was going boost I would go Z6 or GSR.
mountaindewguy
don't even bother with him solles, he don't know anything about turbo.
