CRG7
to start up mosh/circle pits whereever you feel like it at concerts these days? Today's youth needs a rulebook as to proper behaviour at concerts.

CRG7
It has happened at every concert I have been to and as long as I can remember. I've been going to concerts for 9 years, and only this past year has it happened at 2 shows. First was at Bamboozle when TBS came on. People started a circle pit up in the BACK of the crowd. 2nd was on Saturday night at the AFI show. There was the normal pit, then every now and again people would start up a pit in the middle of the crowd. According to others, a couple of people were trying to start one up in the back of the crowd at the show also.
joecollins2
That's what you get when you go to those kind of concerts. Never been to one, but never heard of a mosh pit at a Kenny Chesney concert...

Haha, yeah that would be something. It's not so much of a "that's what you get" though. I've been on the rail at a show in the past, and have been right next to the pit at a lot of shows, so it is expected in those areas. Despite my size, I can hold my own in those areas, which is another thing these kids need to learn.
sup
There's been a mosh pit at every local concert i've been to. I don't really get in them a lot, I just like to stick my elbow out and see what happens

There was a "The Bled" concert (awesome name!!!! ) that I heard about where kids started a mosh pit at the worst possible times.. so one of my friends jacked this kid in the face "on accident".. he totally deserved it. The next day I saw him at school with a phat lip. The bled rock yeaaaah!

Then again, in the 6 years that I've been listening to punk, it never happened until those two shows. They need to learn to keep it front and center where it's supposed to be, which will keep the people that are just standing there from getting pushed around and causing the "domino effect". 90IntegraC1
pits are retarded. i go to listen to music, not run around like a cracked up monkey. i've punched a few kids square in the face. they deserve it when they can't control themselves, so you knock them out. works everytime. Norma Jean had some crazy pits, so did Bela Kiss....more dancing though, which is sweet.

I agree with pits, I'd rather see the band play and have a good time rather than spend the money to hear them play and not see the show. To each their own, but if you want to be in the pit then be in the pit, don't start one up whereever you feel like it because you're too afraid to be in the real pit or whatever.
