To buy, or not to buy

I am considering buying a 1994 Honda Prelude V-tec model. I t has some small body rust due to road salt and it could use some painting. . . but the big deal is that it has 179k miles. . .

The guy will take $3k for it ( he needs money fast). It has an aem cold air and custom 2 3/4 exhaust. He also has a brand new stage 3 clutch and flywheel waiting to be put on it. . .

So? To buy, or not to buy?!!!!

honda are good for 300k miles if well taken care of, but if there is salt rust then it means he probably didnt take care of his car... more then likley its on the fenders which in that case you can buy a set of brand new z3 fenders for 120 bucks. still it means he didnt take care of the car very good. as for the miles it depends how much ull be driving the car. and what your going to do with it :)

yeah, you can find a better deal than that. i got mine in mint condition with only 105000 miles for 5000. and body work and paint costs a good amount. itll probably cost you almost as much to fix all that crap as it did to buy the car in the first place. unless your doing it yourself or have a hookup
