CleanGSR
Not a pain to put on, but a pain to look at once they are on.
dcletten
im assuming your talkin about the silicone ones that are comin on all the new cars, that supposoly you only have to replace like once every 5 yrs or somethin?
CleanGSR
Either way, buy the entire blade (not just the inserts) and it's as easy as swapping new blades on from walmart (which I usually do in their parking lot in about 2 minutes)
SolLesHonda
If that. Wiper blades couldn't get much easier.

dcletten
actually the newer ones are different, they take different clips, and i actually read an article about them, they arent just like 21 in wipers anymore, you are supposed to measure a bunch of stuff, arc of the winshield in different directions, they come pre-bent and have a certain pressure so that if they are wrong they will streak and you can have spots where the wiper wont get, stupid stuff, id rather just buy regular replacements personally
CleanGSR
The only thing I hate about changing wiper blades is that I put it off until it's raining and I can't use them, so I get stuck installing them in the rain in walmart's parking lot. I just bought some a few months ago and didn't have to do any of that stuff you mentioned.
dcletten
the ones im talking about are the ones that come on new cars, they dont have like a full cage, just a center connection, heres a pic, they look like the one on the left http://www.volvoxc.com/features/ultimate_w...wiper_blade.jpg
BuddySol
The only thing I hate about changing wiper blades is that I put it off until it's raining and I can't use them, so I get stuck installing them in the rain in walmart's parking lot. I just bought some a few months ago and didn't have to do any of that stuff you mentioned. i think that's why i put it off till when it stops raining. then i sit there and go, why bother it's not raining. then start kicking myself when it starts raining again. bah...hehe
