first u wanna break ur engine in, like i said in another thread

it wont take much to make it as fast as a type-r, i believe i type-r has maybe 185-200 hp?  cant remember exactly... you could get maybe 240hp if you got a turbo.  i/h/e would help you out also but if thats all you get i dont think ull reach the hp of a type-r

hi

the first thing i would do to ur civic would be to inhance the handling capibilites.  I would get some progressive lowering springs and tokico shocks, anti sway bars and a rear strut bar( i think the si comes with a stock struct bar under the hood).  the type r come with really good(stiff) suspention so you should try an match it or make urs even better.

After that i would get intake, exhaust, and headers, maybe type r cams and pistons.  if ur willing to spent the money on a turbo charger then i think you should one...that will put u way past a type r.

Well dude the first thing you are gonna have to do is wait at least a year before you can start buying  aftermarket parts unless you have the cash and you can have a custom turbo kit build just for you.

but for right now I would suggest you break i your engine and then get a nitrous kit. It will help you out on special occacions.

You're an idiot. JDM and USDM make the same amount of power. Honda justed said that the JDM ones make more so they would be considered an improvement over the older JDM B's.

 man i would rather go with the hond ex. b/c the only difference between the ex and the si is the dohc and u can just add a couple extra parts to the ex for it to keep up with the si.

uhhhh, no you can't. intake, header, and exhaust aren't going to match you up with a B16.
