Blackoutt Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Ok bought the part I am going to use for new motor build. B16 turned 1.6 to a 1.8,Eagle I rods, oem bearings, dish arias pistons (8.5:1), port and polish, bore honed,AEBS bullet proof sleeves, Ti retainers and springs, 84 mm bore, ITR cam shafts, Golden eagle cam gears, hondata s300,chipped p28,thermal exhaust, full race stage 1 kit,dss stage 3 axles, quaife lsd,Pro 2000 seats,RC 550 cc injectors, walbro fuel pump,AEM fuel pressure regulator. tell me what you think.
SolLesHonda Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Why did you waste money on the stroker kit ? Chipped ECU = garbage. Stay with Hondata. ACL bearings > OEM bearings Arias are ok, but CP and JE are better. And why did you lower your compression so damn much ? Good job with the Eagle rods. Ditch the ITR cams for Crowers or RM. Boo to Thermal exhaust IMO, they don't sound good to me. Get custom 3 inch from kteller, and tanabe muffler. Good choice on the Walbro 255lph fuel pump, AEM FPR, and AEM fuel Rail. May need higher flowing injectors. What power are you looking for ?
Blackoutt Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 I am trying to at least get in to the mid 400's
Blackoutt Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 I am having kenji do the p28 so i can use the hondata. I didn't want to do a motor swap. I could get ITR,GSR, or Rm shafts it doesn't matter.
SolLesHonda Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I never said swap the motor. 400+ whp didn't need a stroker. Don't listen to me then, it's not like I have built a turbo'd motor, single cam for that matter, in the 400+ whp range.
Blackoutt Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 No bro I am listening to you I am just looking for info thats all.
SolLesHonda Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Ok. What type of turbo are you planning on running ? Gimme some info and I'll help you out.
Humphries Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 tell me how a turbo actually works and then you will know if you are ready for a turbo application. naming names is easy.. putting it together, learning your car, doing crap you never done before is REALLY difficult.
Blackoutt Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 Lol explain how a turbo works lol what am I a total noob lol. Anyway.the pro street turbo kit has a 57 trim or you can get a 60 trim turbo it has a equal lenth manifold and the intercooler is 22x8x3 with a 38mm tial wastegate.
SolLesHonda Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Why did you order the whole kit ? I would have been happy to give you sites where you cold order things separately and saved a lot of money.
Blackoutt Posted March 9, 2006 Author Posted March 9, 2006 I have got most of the stuff not all of it. I haven't bought the turbo yet. What are the sites.
SolLesHonda Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 How about listing everything you have, and I'll help you from there.
Blackoutt Posted March 9, 2006 Author Posted March 9, 2006 The motor is already started so I can only change the the turbo kit.
SolLesHonda Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Ok .. well, I would recommend buying everything separately.
Blackoutt Posted March 9, 2006 Author Posted March 9, 2006 What am I going to do about the clamps and hoses and piping? What do you think I should get?
xalexjx@yahoo.com Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 exaust spins a turbine, which goes across a shaft which spins another turbine which forces air into the engine, the only problem with this is it heats up the air intencely, so you need an intercooler for maximum efficancy,

We know how a turbo works. Your spelling is similar to Batman's. Anyway, Blackoutt- you can get charge piping online.
xalexjx@yahoo.com Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 idk, some one asked how a turbo worked. idk, im random like that and my spelling is worse then batmans,
SolLesHonda Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Anyway, Blackoutt, PM me if you need a list of sites.
Blackoutt Posted March 9, 2006 Author Posted March 9, 2006 what about all the clamps and hoses? I need those too
SolLesHonda Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Good luck. Could have got more power through me. Suprestreet, you are a cocky bastard. That's your new name by the way. We figured we'd bring it back.
