Caspers_Civic Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 You might want to try putting on a new oil pan gasket and if that doesn;t work it kinda sound like the rear main seal
Humphries Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 wow we aren't technicians here kid. hahahah. take it to a shop. im training to be ASE certified and ..SSR.. is ASE certified technician. so yes we are technicians here.

eric94bubble Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Most likely your valve cover gasket. clean your engine first, then look to see if you can tell where your leak is coming from. An oil leak can run you in to some expensive repairs, tend to your problem promptly

An oil leak can run you in to some expensive repairs, tend to your problem promptly I agree!! If you're leaking that much oil, you should easily be able to see where it's coming from after you clean the block. Can you at least tell if it's coming from the top or bottom of the engine?
cranny Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 d series engines , im my experience once they get older. the oil pan wheres its close to the exhaust starts to rust over time. id say hes got a hole in his oil pan. i cant see any other leak that came about on its own leakin that much oil that fast , not RMS , not valve cover either.
