InfinitePrelude Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 not sure on your car but try holding the key in the egnition for a few seconds then try to start the engine. pump the gas a bit.
sleepincivic on15s Posted March 4, 2006 Author Posted March 4, 2006 yea thanks i tried that a few times turning it on and off to run the pump still nuthin evan nothing with starting fluid idk wierd it started yesterday fine not nothing
InfinitePrelude Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 put a little bit of fuel into 1 or 2 of the cylinders manually. then try start it hopefully it'll force the fuel. i think it might be fuel: pump, filter or relay. if it starts after this test it should be filter or pump.
sleepincivic on15s Posted March 4, 2006 Author Posted March 4, 2006 idk i fracked up when i was doing it i wanted it in civic idk
sleepincivic on15s Posted March 5, 2006 Author Posted March 5, 2006 ok i tested the spark and put the plug on top of the head and turned it over and got nothing put then pulled it away a lil and it sparked i was like wtf i dont think its soposed to do thatand its got fuel to the rail
cranny Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 spark plug sometimes gives a bad read. just stick a screwdriver into the plug wire where plug goes(makin sure you have contact with the clip inside) and hold screwdriver an 1/8 of an inch away from clean dry metal.
Double0EK Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 You probably f'ed up the fuel pump by not having gas in it and trying to start it. OR you can check you fuel pump fuse if its blown then replace it with the same amperage dont use one with more amps or crap can get ugly. Good luck
